This project started when we were tasked with creating an awareness campaign centered around current events.
With the rise of AI-generated phone scams, elderly individuals are increasingly targeted by deceptive callers impersonating loved ones, officials, or service providers. Many seniors who grew up in an era where phone communication was built on trust struggle to identify these sophisticated scams, leading to financial loss and emotional distress.

This campaign highlights the risks of modern phone scams while reminding seniors of the trust they once had in calls. By revisiting past communication’s simplicity you are given a website to look at that encourages safer call habits—using caller ID, avoiding unknown numbers, and verifying calls. Through striking posters, the message is clear: going back to the intention of phone calling is not something out of reach.
Before we start the design process it was important that we took time to formulate the problem that we were going out to bring solutions to. With that comes the design thinking process.
