Paradigm Banner
This project originated from Paradigm Church at Brookhaven, where I was hired to create a banner for their front entrance. Giving me the instructions to use the phrase “City on a hill”, they wanted to have a banner that took creative liberties to express that phrase.

I started by creating hand-drawn illustrations and experimenting with design layouts. These are a few of the sketches that helped inform my design later on.
Then I took these ideas into Illustrator and experimented with creating the elements, as well as the layout, that I thought could work.

Building on what I found in the initial online sketches, I went in and started to implement color and style into the design. These were then given to the client for the final review, and a decision was made.
